🍎Bangboo Buddies
A Special Event with Hoyoverse ZZZ & Stream Avatars.
Summary
Bangboo Buddies mode is a special event for Stream Avatars. It will NOT affect your normal Stream Avatars setup! Also, it is automatically set up with the click of a button and showcases a unique boss fight minigame through the Bangboo Buddies Extension! It will simplify the settings of Stream Avatars and lock in some default settings to give the customized experience of Bangboo Buddies.
Type !Bangboo into chat to create your character.
Type !Bangboo into chat every hour to unlock a new Bangboo! (10 Total)
The broadcaster or moderators can type !Boss to start a unique minigame which introduces a new way to play from the extension! Upon winning you will have a chance to unlock the special Golden Bangboo!
Setup
Get Stream Avatars on Steam. http://store.steampowered.com/app/665300/Stream_Avatars/
In steam switch your library filter to include "software"
Launch Stream Avatars.
Install the twitch extension for Bangboo Buddies: https://dashboard.twitch.tv/extensions/9qoeasng0d5dt38lh9zvhyt9xumh4g
In Stream Avatars Application, switch to Bangboo Buddies.
Make sure your login details are set correctly in Stream Avatars. (Images below)
Click connect button in the top left corner.
You can also select "Who can spawn" from the dropdown options on this page too. If you're a popular streamer you might want to set it to a "subscribers" setting.
Click Login Details, and then authenticate for your streaming channel by clicking "Platform Login". Afterwards you can authenticate for the bot account.
You can use the streamer account for your bot as well, but whenever a message is sent to chat it will say it was sent by you.
Once you have two green checkmarks, you're ready to go! Click "Connect" found in the top left corner.
Troubleshooting
If you find that your bangboo mode is not working correctly, You can do a factory reset of the application by going into -> General -> Data -> and clicking the "Factory Reset" button. (this will reset ALL data to the defaults).
If you or a viewer is struggling to get the extension to work correctly, make sure that they are not using a VPN. If you are having problems with your internet, you can try using it on a mobile device with data instead of wifi.
Another possibility is a user having a problem with authenticating the extension. Sometimes this can be fixed by setting your computer's clock to automatically set the time.
